TSK1-3
Overview:
- Characters:
- 3 or so NPCs: actors in a re-enactment piece put on by Casino X. They recently lost one of their own, and their show has been experiencing strange coincidences which some among them attribute to a ghost.
- The Shaman: resident of the alternate universe, he explains the situation and guides the party to resolving the issue
- The Ghost: a strange, semi-ethereal being who is plaguing the production
- Aquarius CEO: someone is trying to kill him by shoving him through a time warp, but if they succeed, Vegas will be destroyed and untold damage will be done to reality
- The Assassin: whoever is perpetrating this by attempting to kill the CEO, possibly as part of the Game
- Places:
- Casino X: the casino hosting the production
- The Alternate Universe: one where Las Vegas was never founded
- Gangland: a prohibition-era meeting between gang lords which would become essential to the founding of the city
- Aquarius HQ: where the party meets with the CEO
- Plot:
- It begins with an investigation into the mysterious accidents the production has been having
- Preliminary results: one of the actors died recently, the show just started up again, some among the crew think it's his ghost.
- The first segment focuses on the party trying to stop the ghost (or whatever it is). They set a trap for him.
- Along the way, the CEO approaches them to request aid: it seems someone is trying to kill him. Not just kill him, but erase him from history, which, despite all the wonderful things his enemies would attribute to such a thing, would also un-save Las Vegas retroactively, causing untold levels of paradox. They probably just brush him off.
- Segment one ends with the trap being sprung. Their assumptions prove wrong; the being isn't a ghost, and the forces arranging the coincidence are not so easily stopped. As history is rewritten, they are shunted into the alternate universe.
- Segment two is about undoing the change to history. First, they must figure out a way to go back in time, then make sure history does what it is supposed to do.
- In the end, they return to the prime timeline, figuring they've saved the day. Then, that damned ghost shows up again
- It begins with an investigation into the mysterious accidents the production has been having
